Not only has Pinterest caught fire, but so too has its unique layout design. Sites across the Web are reinventing themselves by using Pinterest’s signature grid design featuring minimal text and lots of pictures. Easy Living is one such example. The British magazine, published by Condé Nast, relaunched its website earlier this month with a new design that bears an uncanny resemblance to that of Pinterest.

Condé Nast is certainly trying to ride the Internet wave as it tries to reinvent itself online as print publications slowly become a thing of the past. The publisher announced today that it currently sells more than 200,000 digital subscriptions of its U.K. publications and that its magazines have combined total of over 965,000 Facebook fans. The company also has 13 smartphone apps and is starting to create tablet content as well.

Unlike many publications trying to live in the past, Condé Nast has been vigilant in trying to keep up with the times. Noting the buzz surrounding Pinterest, the company chose to abandon their old ways of thinking in favor of a layout that has proven successful in this new era. As the company continues to progress into the digital age, it seems to be leading the way for the magazine industry.
